BIRTH and LIFE AS A HERO's JOURNEY

Another innovative, mind-blowing workshop

presented by
Pam England

This refreshing class was developed in response to the growing number of parents who are hungry for an alternative to the emerging collective myth that birth in our culture is a Patient's or Victim's Journey.

Pam England poetically and passionately tells beloved, ancient hero myths that parallel our own lives and births. She illustrates the heroine's journey and outlines the timeless tasks of  preparation, the ordeal, and our return: tasks we must complete to achieve personal freedom and spiritual growth.

Everybody begins this journey as a Child, often as a Victim-Child. Nobody begins the journey as a Hero or a Warrior. It is the Ordeal, and what we do with it, that awakens and cultivates the Huntress, Love Warrior and Hero-Mother within.

Birth as a Hero's Journey is the perfect model and postpartum retreat for examining your birth experience in a new light.

Pam welcomes everyone (mothers, fathers and partners) who are preparing to give birth or who are wounded or healing from a difficult birth. There will be time for self-reflection and personal work. You will leave with new perspective and feeling uplifted!!
