What You Need To Know Before You Register For a  Workshop

Help us make your registration a low-stress process! Please read this information carefully. If you have questions, please ask us before you register.

Please register and pay in full BEFORE the deadline date. (If you are registering after the deadline, please pay in full at that time.)

You will receive an information-packed confirmation letter (usually by email) after you register. If you wait to register until the last minute, you may not receive this information in time.

Due to the intense nature of the training, and out of respect for other participants, babies or children cannot be allowed in the workshop room during sessions. Birthing  From  Within does not provide childcare. If you have a nursing child, you may nurse during morning and afternoon breaks and during lunch and dinner. Thank you for your understanding!

Family members and/or friends who are not registered for the workshop are not allowed in workshop sessions.

An introduction workshop may be repeated for only $200, but the repeated course must be within 3 years of completion of the original course. (Current BFW members are always given the $200 price when repeating a course.)

Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you will be unable to attend a workshop for any reason, please contact our office as soon as possible. We often have a waiting list.

If you cancel more than 14 days before the date of the workshop (or more than 30 days for an Advanced Retreat), your tuition is refundable, less a $50 administration fee. Or you can choose to have the balance of your tuition (less the $50 administration fee) applied as a credit toward any Birthing  From  Within workshop within one year.

If you cancel less than 14 days before the workshop date (less than 30 days for an Advanced Retreat), your tuition is NOT refundable. You may be issued a credit for your balance, less a $50 administrative fee; this credit may be applied to another Birthing  From  Within workshop within one year.

If you cancel at any time on a residential workshop (Retreat), your room and board fees cannot be refunded or transfered to another Birthing  From  Within workshop (because we are charged by the retreat center for your room and meals months in advance, whether you come or not).

Certification program fees are not refundable. But we do allow extensions for personal reasons, on a case-by-case basis.

Returned Check Policy: We charge a $15 fee for every returned (bounced) check.

Special information about Retreats:
BIRTHING FROM WITHIN^® does its best to find reasonably priced, comfortable lodging and nutritious food that will satisfy most members of a large group. However, we cannot accommodate every special need. We will reserve your standard room and meals, but we are not a travel agency and cannot reserve cars or shuttles, make alternate lodging arrangements, or plan off-site activities for you or your families.

If you have special dietary or lodging needs, please let our office know well in advance of the workshop. In some cases, we may be able to accommodate you. If we cannot, you must arrange for your own accommodations/meals  off-site. BIRTHING FROM WITHIN does not arrange family accommodations.
