Super Sizzling Soulful SUMMER & FALL 2010 CHILDBIRTH CLASSES in ALBUQUERQUE Your childbirth and postpartum classes are limited to six couples to allow you to receive personal attention. You will meet in a lovely and nurturing space. Refreshments and supplies will be provided.
There is no bias or pressure to birth normally or avoid drugs. The emphasis is on birthing-in-awareness, doing your best, and cultivating a coping mindset and self-love and respect… regardless of how your birth and postpartum unfolds. * * * * August 13, 14, and 15All-In-One-Weekend Childbirth Class ($325 plus tax) Friday Evening August 13, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm Saturday, August 14. 10 am to 4 pmSunday August 15, 1 pm to 4 pm. . . . Plus a Postpartum Meeting, to be scheduled. * * * October/November Tuesday Evening Series ($250 plus tax) October 5, 12, 19, 26 and November 9 and 16 (We must take November 2 off because I will be leading a workshop out of town). 6:30-8:30 pm. Plus postpartum meeting which we will schedule based after we know the actual "birth-days"! * * * Storyteller and Childbirth Mentor Pam England will begin the evening with the fireside telling of a delicious old myth or fairytale. The Story will be followed by a lively discussion, teaching and activity that will make the story relevant to your Childbirth Preparation or Postpartum Return. Storytelling is the oldest form of learning. . . Many parents have noted that while many facts were forgotten in the haze and exhaustion of labor and postpartum, the highlights of the hero journey story they learned in childbirth preparation stayed with them, and served them as an inner, soulful map.. Unforgettable! This very special storytelling childbirth class is only offered four times a year. This is a rare treat to learn in this traditional and unique way, in Pam England's own home.
