This 90-minute webinar, led by Pam England (author of "Labyrinth of Birth" and "BIRTHING FROMWITHIN"), will introduce you to the labyrinth of birth.
During this special interactive presentation, you will fall in love with the ancient universal symbol of the Labyrinth as a map for the childbearing year.
What IS a Labyrinth? How do you draw one? How is it relevant to childbirth preparation? All this, and much much more, will be covered in this live multi-media class with Pam.
In this webinar, you will see labyrinths from around the world, as well as ones that Pam and parents have made. Pam will explain a bit about the history of labyrinths, and show you, step-by-step, how to draw one. You will also learn how to use the labyrinth as a way to prepare for and cope with the intensity and unknowns of birth. Parents in our classes love to make them and rave about how much their labyrinths helped them in labor. It is optional (but recommended) that you read the "Labyrinth of Birth" before our gathering. You can buy it online, order it from your local bookstore, or purchase it through our website.

This 6.5 day residential retreat, held at majestic Menucha, is for BIRTHING FROMWITHIN Mentors who have completed their Level One Home Study and been approved for this Advanced Retreat. The total cost of this workshop is $1330. This includes $850 tuition, most supplies, meals and accommodations for 6 nights. This workshop is approved for 30 contact hours by the CA Board of Registered Nursing.
**Early Registration due by April 1st. If tuition is not paid in full by April 1st, it will increase to $900.
Repeaters: subtract $400 (half tuition) from above prices.
Tuition for our retreat at the lovely Ojai Foundation (http://www.ojaifoundation.org/) is $850 USD, but you get a $50 discount if you pay by October 31, 2011. (Late fee of $50 will be added if not paid in full by by January 1st, 2012.) Price for six nights, shared rustic accommodations and all food is $620. The cost of a private room, plus food is $720. All bathrooms and showers are shared and separate from the sleeping rooms. No private bathrooms are available.
