This introductory 50 minute audio CD is designed for people who have an interest in learning about how to mentor with BIRTHING FROMWITHIN's philosophy. People who register for all "Introduction to BIRTHING FROMWITHIN" workshops will receive one of these CDs in advance of the workshop (time allowing).

This mini-class is an introductory sampling of a BIRTHING FROMWITHIN childbirth class. We invite first-time pregnant women and their partners to explore their beliefs about birth and pain in a compassionate, dynamic environment. The class will take place within our Mentor and Doula Workshop, and will be observed by 20-30 participants (mostly doulas, midwives and other people who work in birth). This class will be taught by one of BFW's senior Mentors and Facilitators, and will give you a taste of what BFW is all about.
Class fee of $35 includes your very own hardback copy of the BIRTHING FROMWITHIN Keepsake Journal. Class is held at Sacramento Street Center (2436 Sacramento St.) in Berkeley.

This 6.5 day residential retreat, held at beautiful Ghost Ranch Retreat Center, is for BIRTHING FROMWITHIN Mentors who have completed their Level One Home Study and been approved for this Advanced Retreat. The total cost of this workshop varies, depending on your accommodations choice. Tuition is $800, there is an additional cost for meals and accommodations for 6.5 days (approximately $450-550). This workshop is approved for 30 contact hours by the CA Board of Registered Nursing.
Repeaters: subtract $400 (half tuition) from above prices.
