Blog Submission Form

Requirements:

  • 250-1000 words

  • Solution-focused and process-focused language

  • Inclusive language (birthing person, birth partner, parents, etc.)

In submitting your piece, you are agreeing to participate in an editing process, and that the piece in parts or whole will be used on the Birthing from Within website and social media. Your work should be original, and not previously published elsewhere.

If we do select and post your piece, you are welcome to share a link and excerpts on your own personal/ business website and/or social media accounts. We ask that you not share it on other organizations' websites or other monetized channels.

We are always looking to uplift dynamic content written through a Birthing from Within lens. If your post is selected, you will be paid $50 and featured on our blog.

We are looking for blog posts on the following topics:

  • Birth art

    Your personal practice & business and how BfW is a part of it (250 words)

    Tips for classes & support (virtual and/or in-person)

    How a BfW process/approach has helped you and/or a client

    Archetypes

    Storytelling skills and practices

    Heroic journey

  • Book & movie reviews

    Recipes for perinatal people

    Reports/opinions on recent studies, news items, etc.

    Reports/opinions on recent conferences, events, etc.
