This three-day workshop (Friday-Sunday) in the Portland area begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. each day.

Venue: Alma Education & Movement Space, 1233 SE Stark St., Portland, OR 97214

This workshop is approved for 20 contact hours by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #12800), which are accepted by all major nursing, midwifery, and doula organizations.

LOCALS special offering: We open the first day of all of our Introductory Workshops to ANYONE interested in learning about our revolutionary (yet ancient) approach to birth preparation and healing. Explore birth in our culture from a new perspective, experience a birth art process, learn about Birth as a Warrior's Journey and the mythic descent every mother makes, practice mindfulness as self-awareness. OPEN to pregnant women, mothers and fathers (no babies allowed), grandparents, as well as ANYONE who works with pregnant women or families in the childbearing year. Cost is $160 for the day (9am to 6pm, with a lunch break).

The cost of early registration: $399

After April 19: $475

A limited number of participants who are repeating this workshop within 3 years of their previous intro may attend for $250. Active BFW mentors may repeat for $200.
