Birth workers often support others through intense, unpredictable experiences, which makes tending to our own nervous systems an essential part of our work. Rather than striving to “fix” or control every moment, this approach invites curiosity, self-awareness, and compassionate presence.
Together, we’ll reflect on how regulation and dysregulation show up in birth spaces, and how birth workers can cultivate steadiness within themselves while supporting the people they serve. You’ll learn a few accessible practices you can use personally and share with parents, along with ways to recognize when a nervous system may need support.
This call is an opportunity to pause, reconnect with your own inner resources, and gather practical tools to bring more steadiness, resilience, and humanity into your birth work.
